Clean outlines melt into crisp raised detail you can paint per region in your slicer. Photos work too. Need vectors instead? A bookmark uses two pats. You get five free pats a day, your everyday allowance for finished files, refilled daily with no sign-in required.
Pats are your free daily allowance, a few fresh every day, no purchase and no sign-in. SVG work (a clean trace or a repair) is 1 pat; 3D outputs (bookmark, Color Book, rounded STL) are 2. Run out and you are just “out of butter” until they refill.

Open paths, tiny islands, dimension mismatches, runaway node counts: the common problems that break cutters and lasers. Each issue comes with a severity, and the file gets a confidence-rated score, so we never fake precision.
No jargon. "A connector is too thin to cut," not "kerf threshold violation." Automatable issues get a safe one-click fix; others get clear next steps.
Compare your original against the rendered SVG in the split view, and read the per-fix summary: viewBox added, strokes expanded, embedded photos flagged.
It's sent to the Buttery engine, inspected, fixed, and handed straight back, and never sold. Files auto-delete within 24 hours, or up to 30 days if you opt in to let us improve our algorithms with them.

For image conversion and bookmarks: PNG, JPG, or WebP up to 20 MB. The format converter also reads iPhone HEIC, plus AVIF, TIFF, and BMP. To check or fix an existing SVG: an SVG up to 2 MB. You get a clean SVG back, plus the bookmark ZIP (3MF + matched single body STL) for bookmark conversions.
Only briefly. Your files are sent to the engine, processed, and handed back, and never sold. They auto-delete within 24 hours. If you opt in to product improvement, we keep that session’s files for up to 30 days and use them to improve our algorithms.
A file can be valid XML and still break a cutter: missing canvas size, stroked outlines, embedded photos, or unsupported effects. ButterySpace checks for exactly those machine-specific traps before you download.
