HEIC to JPG Converter

Your iPhone shoots HEIC, and half the web can't open it. Forms reject it, old software shrugs at it, and your printer pretends it never arrived. Drop the photo here and get a JPG or PNG back in seconds: iPhone HEIC to PNG or JPG in one drop, and we keep the photo's orientation, so portraits stay upright instead of arriving sideways.

Upload anywhere Job applications, listing sites, and web forms that only take JPG or PNG.
Share with anyone Send photos to Windows PCs, older phones, and apps that choke on HEIC.
Print shops Most photo printing services want JPG. Convert first, print without the back-and-forth.
Edit in old tools Get your shot into editors and viewers that predate Apple's format.

What it converts

  • In: HEIC and HEIF (iPhone photos), plus AVIF, TIFF, BMP, PNG, WebP, and JPG
  • Out: JPG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, BMP, or GIF, your pick
  • JPG output has an adjustable quality setting (default 90, a buttery balance of size and sharpness)
  • Orientation is preserved: the photo comes out the way you shot it
  • Files up to 20 MB, which covers any iPhone photo with room to spare

Free to start: 5 free pats a day, 1 pat per conversion, no sign-in required. Files auto-delete within 24 hours unless you opt in to keep them longer.

One honest limitation: wide-gamut Display-P3 photos (common on newer iPhones) currently decode as standard sRGB, so colors can shift slightly versus Apple's rendering. Fine for nearly every use; a fix is planned.

HEIC to JPG, answered

Is the HEIC to JPG converter free?

Free to start. Every conversion costs 1 buttery pat, and you get 5 free pats a day, topped back up daily. No sign-in required.

Does converting HEIC to JPG lose quality?

Converting re-encodes the photo, so JPG output is not pixel-identical to the original, but at the default quality of 90 the difference is hard to spot. Choose PNG for a lossless re-encode. One honest note: wide-gamut Display-P3 photos (common on iPhone) are currently decoded as standard sRGB, so colors can shift slightly compared with how Apple renders them. A fix is planned.

Are my photos private?

Uploads are processed and auto-delete within 24 hours, and they are never sold. If you explicitly opt in to product improvement, we keep that session’s files for up to 30 days and use them to improve the tool.
